We should say that cinematographers have an extraordinary taste about anything they look through the lens. In fact they must be more creative than the directors. A cameraman is the one who make a mute scene speak. And it’s proven fact that cinematographers are successful by glossing the script and knowing the way to extract the work from the crew. Santhosh Sivan, KV Anand, Ravi Varman, Thangar Bachan, Rajiv Menon and PC Sreeram are the few flourished cinematographers who have turned out to be successful directors as well.

Now we have a new entrant to join this line-up. Ace Cinematographer Rathnavelu recently met Aarya and narrated a script for his directorial debut. To give an example, Rathnavelu is the cameraman of Goutham Menon’s ‘Varanam Aayiram’. Our sources had it that, Aarya was impressed by the script and is fixed to work with him.

On the other hand Rathnavelu is busy with the filming of Superstar’s ‘Endhiran’.

Recently a Sufi song was recorded for 'Chikku Bukku' by Music Composers Hariharan and Leslie of the Colonial Cousins fame. The song was sung by the most popular Sufi singers Wadali Brothers, (Puranchand Wadali & Pyarelal Wadali). They hail from Guru ki Wadali in the Amritsar district in Punjab
Actor Aarya and cinematographer Nirav Shah with their earnest endeavors had accomplished bringing ‘Light’ to Tamil film industry. Sounds to be quite wondering, isn’t? ‘Lightning Strikes’ was the fantabulous occasion where ‘Lightning Effects’ those were used in Hollywood has been imported to Kollywood now. Cinematographer Nirav Shah and Actor Aarya were sang appraisals for brining the fantastic technology over here.

When asked Nirav Shah whether this technology would enhance the standard of Tamil Cinema, he said, ‘Eventually not. Our filmmakers and technicians had employed such of our own way in project the Lightning effects. But it had no impact on the screens due to various constraints. This new technology will incisively add to the right transcription of getting the best visuals…’ It’s noteworthy that this ‘Lightning Technology’ was used in various top-charting Hollywood movies including ‘Green Mile’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’.
Aarya has been one such actor who constantly focused on various panoramas with his earnest efforts. Of course, he has been making his attempts to be ‘Jack of all trades’ and there isn’t anything wrong about it.

The actor who made his debut before 5 years has now established a prominent place for him in film industry as an actor, distributor and now a producer. Apart from this, we’ve got to hear from his closer sources that he has been involved in vivid training of editing. According to them, Aarya is found at editing suite of Antony whenever he finds himself free from hectic schedules of shooting.

So, we can expect one more new avatar from Aarya, soon behind the lens

‘As I had Jeeva sir to uplift me, I must be a bridge for the talented personalities to gateway of filmdom’ said Aarya on his new avatar as producer. The actor is all set to producer his first film ‘Padithurai’ with complete debutants.

On the pars, the actor has almost completed director Vijay’s ‘Madrasapattinam’. Aarya says “The stunt sequences are completely off-the-wall, when it comes to this film. It’s all about wrestling and so couldn’t opt for a dupe. 80% of the film’s shooting has been completed except couple of songs and climax stunts.”

Aarya loves to perform in multi-hero subjects as he feels there would be more scope to perform. The actor is simultaneously shooting for ‘Chikku Bukku’ and a Telugu movie where he plays negative role.

On his production venture, Aarya clearly adds that he has no ideas about onscreen presence. His motives are all about making films like ‘Nadodigal’ and ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ that had equal proportions of commercial and pragmatic quotients.

Sun Pictures usually takes on the distribution work of most of the films produced by producer Kalpathi Agoram. In continuing with this trend, Sun Pictures is said to have decided to acquire the distribution rights of ‘Madarasapattinam’, the next film from Agoram, for a huge sum.

The producer was contemplating cutting down Aarya’s fee but didn’t do so, thanks to Sun Pictures’s decision to buy the film at a magnanimous rate. Director Vijay, who has earned a name for himself with films like ‘Kireedom’ and ‘Poi Solla Porom’, is working sincerely to keep that name. For ‘Madarasapattinam’, the script of which has been set in the early part of the twentieth century, Vijay wanted a tram, an archaic mode of transport.

Instead of bringing one from Kolkata where it is still in use, Vijay has asked his producer to make one such tram in Chennai itself. A part of Mount Road, after the Unit rented it, was converted into earlier ‘Madras’ that existed some 100 years ago. The art director had put in tremendous work to make it look realistic. With Sun Pictures coming to rescue, Vijay won’t have any financial worries for the time being.
Who can forget the Ashutosh Gowarikar’s astounding piece of recital ‘Lagaan’ that missed bagging Oscars at a slip? Perhaps, the film was entitled as ‘Biggest Entertainer’ in terms of historical period genre. Likely, during these years, there have been more buzzes pertaining to leading personalities of K-Town looking out to remake it.

Of course, you cannot remake a masterpiece. Much accordingly, ‘Madrasapattinam’ isn’t a remake, but inspired loosely by ‘Lagaan’ with a coining difference. If you were enchanted watching ‘Aamir Khan & Co’ striking on cricket fields, it’s all about ‘Wrestling’ over here.
According to the sources, it involves a conflict between Chennai based youngster in pre-independence era and the British men. Well, ‘wrestling’ doesn’t mean about you watch regularly over the channels. Over here, both contestants would’ve their bodies rubbed down with oil so that they become disabled to hold each other in hands.

Sounds interesting, isn’t? So hold your breaths to catch the scintillating drama ready to hit screens shortly by this yearend.
