Vishnuvardhan-Yuvan combo has done it once again. Sarvam has come out really well with brilliantly orchestrated fast-paced numbers and melodies. Yuvan's innovation, stylish composition comes to fore once again.

The flute music that comes in regular intervals in "Adada vaa" song is catchy. Yuvan always gives a haunting melody to his dad. But surprisingly this time, it's IR who has sung this hip-hop kind of song. Works really well Don't miss the flute music!

Yuvan's trademark melody is "Siragugal" sung by Javed Ali and Madhu Sree. If you are ready to compromise on the vocals front, this would surely be a good melody for you. Yes, both male and female voices are pathetic. Javed Ali who did a good job in "Chinna sirisu" in KPKP, miserably fails this time. Madhusree, as usual!

However, the best track in the album is "Katrukulle Vasam". A thumping melody with enough innovation in orchestration. Fabulous lyrics by Pa. Vijay. Read the second line in the previous paragraph once again and listen to the melody. A precious melody has been mercilessly killed by composer's vocals.

With grand orchestration and good vocals, "Suttal Suriyanai" is another good number. The way Yuvan uses "Megam Karukkudhu Mazhai vara paakkuddhu" lines is simply beautiful. Great song! I guess, Shankar Mahadevan's voice could be an apt choice for this song.

"Neethane" is another good melody which is again spoiled by Yuvan's vocals. Pa. Vijay's lyrics are beautiful. Give it a listen. You may like it.

Aah... There is a Theme Music. Yuvan never falters when it comes to theme music. But this time he does. The theme music doesn't really stand out rather it reminds you of Billa theme at times. It reminds me of Aanandha Thandavam theme music, in the sense that it starts of well but ends abruptly.

Verdict: Overall, Sarvam is yet another stylish album from Yuvan. Had Yuvan avoided rendering his voice and concentrated more on singer selection, this album would have been the best album in recent times. Album is worth buying. But remember, you have to compromise on vocals!

It is a period film. It is set in pre-independence era. The hero, with a well-built physique, dares his enemies. Well, we are not talking about Aamir Khan’s Lagaan, but about Madarasapattinam, the Arya starrer.

No exaggeration it would be to say that promotional stills of the movie are making waves in Kollywood. Says the film’s director Vijay, ‘Madarasapattinam is a straight contrast to my earlier two ventures- Kireedam and Poi Solla Porom. It is about a Chennai, sorry Madras youth, his love affair, his struggle and much more.’

The filmmaker adds: ‘We are bringing back the old Chennai on screen. You will see boats making their way in Buckingham Canal, a Mount Road full of greenery sans traffic and sky-high buildings. Producer Kalpathi S Aghoram has given us complete freedom with no restriction on budget ’.

Arya’s romantic thriller Sarvam is showing all signs of an earlier release owing to the second season of the IPL that clashes with the movie’s originally planned release date. Vishnuvardhan intended to release Sarvam on April 10; however, last heard the movie will be released on March 27 since the producers fear that the upcoming IPL matches might pose a threat to the movie’s box-office performance.Produced by Ayngaran International with Arya and
Trisha in the lead, Sarvam is widely being anticipated owing to the chemistry between the lead pair that is visible in the promos of the movie.

Scored by Yuvan, the movie is expected to serve a refreshing break to Arya at the box office who slogged for two years for Naan Kadavul.

Sarvvam, the next from director Vishnuvardhan, the maker of Ajith’s Billa is all set to release by March 27th.

Story of Sarvvam (also known as Sarvam) revolves around five important characters; Karthik (Arya), a civil engineer, Sandhya (Trisha) a psychiatrist and their sweet romance, Noushad (Indrajith) and his young son Iman (Rohan) and Eswar (J.D.Chakravarthy).

Vishnuvardhan’s strength lies in presenting audience-pleasing fares. Opting for story-worth over baseless glamour, concentrating on well-meaning characterisations and the individual details and placement of scenes and songs, the young director has already proved himself through his earlier movies. In addition to all these, his Sarvvam also carries the star-presence of having Arya as the hero, whose acting potential got wide recognition through Naan Kadavul and Trisha, the hearthrob of Kollywood, who has proved time and again that she is not just a pretty face.

Vishnu continues to team up with his Billa pals Yuvanshankar Raja and Nirav Shah for Sarvvam.
